Event Details

The USA led the world in computer programming contest championships from the 70's thru the 90's, but we haven't won since 1997. Why? Has computer science changed? Are we teaching the wrong things? Are developers from other countries better prepared? Come explore these ideas with Dr Steven Halim, a most successful programming coach from the National University of Singapore. Dr. Halim will be coaching the Bob Jones University team as they prepare to compete in programming contests at the International Level and appears at our meeting by special arrangement.
